Hash brown Casserole
Made this side dish to go along with Father’s Day steaks. It’s a coppy cat of Cracker Barrel’s hashbrown casserole. Lots of flavor and is a good knockoff for the famous potato dish. Everyone liked it, even the dad. Leftover’s are even better. I used the air fryer to reheat.
Hint: If you call it a “bake”, it throws off the “I don’t like casserole.” non-eaters. 😎
Recipe for Hash Brown Bake
Ingredients:
- 1 lb frozen hash browns thawed
- 1/4 C butter melted
- 1 can cream of herb chicken soup
- 1 C sour cream
- 1/4 C chopped onion
- 1 C cheddar cheese grated
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 C bread crumbs
Preheat oven 350 deg. spray 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish. Mix first 7 ingredients well. Spread into baking dish. Top with bread crumbs. Bake 45-55 minutes til browned and bubbly.
About 5 servings. This casserole recipe is easily doubled for a bigger crowd.
